Location: Solar Project Site / Solar Park
We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Engineer to oversee and enforce HSE standards at a utility-scale solar project. The role involves ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, conducting site safety inspections, mitigating risks, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring zero harm to personnel, equipment, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor project HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety inductions.
- Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor work permits, PPE compliance, lifting activities, work at height, electrical safety, and contractor safety.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective action plans.
- Maintain HSE documentation, statutory records, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and safety training programs.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and client representatives on HSE matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in solar, power, electrical, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Knowledge of Indian safety regulations, electrical safety standards, and construction site safety practices.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ADIS, PDIS, or equivalent preferred.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction and electrical safety.
- Excellent observation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence safe behaviors and work effectively with site teams.
- Proficient in MS Office and HSE documentation.
Success Metric: Maintain full HSE compliance, achieve zero lost-time incidents, and foster a proactive safety culture across the project site.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
