This role is heavily focused on incident management, vendor coordination, and operational support. We need someone who can:

Role Purpose
The Enterprise Applications & Transformation Manager will lead the modernization, optimization, and intelligent automation of enterprise applications across the organization.
The role goes beyond traditional application support by driving AI-led transformation initiatives, integrating AI tools and autonomous agents, improving application performance, automating business processes, and delivering measurable business value.
The successful candidate will combine expertise in enterprise applications, automation, AI technologies, IT operations, and stakeholder management to transform legacy and low-performing applications into scalable, intelligent, and high-performing digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Application Transformation
- Assess existing enterprise applications and identify performance, usability, and scalability gaps.
- Develop transformation roadmaps to modernize business-critical applications.
- Drive application rationalization, optimization, and digital adoption initiatives.
- Convert reactive support models into proactive service delivery models.
- AI & Intelligent Automation Leadership
- Identify opportunities to deploy AI, Generative AI, Machine Learning, and AI Agents across business functions.
- Implement AI-powered service management, ticket triaging, root cause identification, and predictive analytics.
- Leverage AI copilots and automation tools to improve application support efficiency.
- Partner with business stakeholders to automate manual workflows and repetitive processes.
- Evaluate and onboard emerging AI technologies and platforms.
- Application Performance Engineering
- Drive application performance optimization initiatives.
- Establish monitoring frameworks for availability, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
- Analyze application bottlenecks and lead remediation programs.
- Improve system response times, stability, and operational resilience.
- Service Operations & Incident Management
- Own L1, L2, and vendor-supported L3 operations.
- Ensure rapid incident resolution and minimize business disruption.
- Lead Major Incident Management (MIM) processes.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Change Management & Product Enhancement
- Lead end-to-end change management lifecycle.
- Prioritize business requirements and enhancement requests.
- Coordinate testing, UAT, deployment, and release management activities.
- Ensure seamless implementation with minimal operational impact.
- Vendor & Technology Partner Management
- Manage relationships with application vendors, system integrators, and AI solution providers.
- Govern vendor SLAs, KPIs, and contractual deliverables.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend strategic investments.
- Data, Analytics & Decision Intelligence
- Develop operational dashboards and business intelligence reports.
- Use AI-driven analytics to predict incidents and optimize system performance.
- Establish KPI-driven governance frameworks.
- Leadership & People Management
- Lead and mentor application support and transformation teams.
- Build a culture of innovation, accountability, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Upskill teams on AI technologies, automation frameworks, and emerging digital tools.
Required Experience / Essential Qualification:
- 12–18 years of experience in Enterprise Applications, IT Operations, Digital Transformation, or Application Management.
- Experience managing ERP, HRMS, CRM, Procurement, Finance, Maritime Operations, or Business Applications.
- Strong background in ITIL-based Service Management.
- Proven experience leading enterprise application modernization initiatives.
- Expertise in Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and RCA.
- AI & Automation Experience
