Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Purchase / Procurement Manager to lead and manage the procurement function for our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing furniture, raw materials, hardware, and other products required for restaurant, bar, and café projects while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
The successful candidate should be capable of executing strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement without compromising on quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and execute purchasing and procurement strategies.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for furniture, raw materials, hardware, and project-related materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Track and report key procurement metrics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and specifications.
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
- Finalize purchase orders, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and project expectations.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Control procurement spend and build a culture of long-term savings.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Manager, Purchase Manager, or Procurement Officer.
- Mandatory experience in factory/manufacturing procurement, preferably with furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, interior fit-out, or woodworking companies.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques with the ability to understand market trends.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
- Good knowledge of supplier management or procurement software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
