Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Art & Craft Teacher to inspire students through visual arts and hands-on creative activities. The ideal candidate willfoster artistic expression, develop students' creative thinking, and create an engaging learning environment that encourages imagination, innovation, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art & Craft lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, sketching, sculpture, paper craft, origami, clay modeling, collage, and mixed media.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students of different age groups.
- Organize classroom activities, exhibitions, competitions, and art-related events.
- Demonstrate proper use and care of art materials and tools while maintaining safety standards.
- Assess students' artistic progress through projects, portfolios, and practicalactivities.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and creative assignments.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and inspiring art classroom.
- Promote appreciation of art, culture, and creativity through interactive learning experiences.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support students' overall development.
- Participate in school functions, workshops, and professional development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, Art Education, or a relatedfield.
- B.Ed. or Diploma/Certification in Art Education (preferred).
- Previous teaching experience in Art & Craft is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various art techniques, materials, and creative practices.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for art instruction is an added advantage.
