Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, order, and appearance of the property (such as a hotel, resort, hospital, or other facility). This includes managing housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, maintaining inventory, and ensuring guest or client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.
- Inspect rooms, common areas, and equipment for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
- Ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and other housekeeping materials; place orders as needed.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate with front office, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new housekeeping staff as required.
- Prepare housekeeping budget and manage departmental costs effectively.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching or disciplinary action as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and OSHA standards.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to [25–50 lbs] as needed.
- Comfortable with bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per month
