About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Drafting Specialist to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing a wide range of legal documents while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to applicable laws and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, agreements, notices, affidavits, petitions, legal opinions, and corporate documents.
- Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law to support drafting activities.
- Ensure all legal documents are compliant with applicable laws and internal policies.
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal departments to gather information and finalize documentation.
- Maintain organized records of legal files, contracts, and correspondence.
- Assist in preparing documentation for litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate revisions or solutions.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of legal documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or related legal qualification.
- Proven experience in legal drafting, contract management, or legal documentation.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines efficiently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in corporate, civil, commercial, or litigation drafting.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong research and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
