- Machine Setup: Selecting and installing the appropriate tooling (punches and dies) based on the job's specifications and material thickness.
- Programming & Calibration: Entering bending parameters into the CNC controller and adjusting machine settings to ensure accuracy.
- Material Handling: Loading metal sheets (such as stainless steel, aluminium, or mild steel) onto the machine and aligning them correctly for precise bending.
- Quality Inspection: Using precision measuring tools like callipers, micrometres, and protractors to verify that finished parts meet the required tolerances.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine cleaning and lubrication and identifying or resolving minor mechanical issues to minimize production downtime
