- Operate VMC machines to produce parts as per technical drawings and work instructions.
- Load/unload workpieces and set up tools, fixtures, and programs.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensions and tolerances.
- Inspect finished products using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, G-code, and CNC programs.
- Ensure components are produced efficiently and meet quality standards.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas and comply with safety protocols.
- Record daily production data and report any issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating VMC machines.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and interpreting CNC programs.
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and basic CNC programming is a plus.
- Familiarity with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controllers (as applicable).
- Good understanding of machining tools, fixtures, and measurement techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
