Key Responsibilities
- Read and understand 2D/3D engineering drawings
- Create programs for VMC machines
- Select tools and set tool offsets
- Understand fixtures and work holding systems
- Perform machine setup and trial runs
- Check dimensions and maintain product quality
- Monitor tool wear and tool life
- Support machine operators during production
- Troubleshoot machining and production issues
Required Technical Skills
- CAD/CAM Software knowledge such as:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
Measuring Instruments
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Puppy Dial
Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge of VMC Programming
