Location: Chh. Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra
Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing and commissioning of power transformers up to 10 MVA
- Conduct routine, type, and pre-dispatch transformer testing
- Handle IR, ratio test, winding resistance, BDV, vector group, and oil testing
- Prepare testing reports and quality documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
- Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams
- Troubleshoot transformer testing and performance issues
- Additional Testing Responsibilities:
- Insulation Resistance (IR) Test using Megger
- Winding Resistance Test (HV/LV)
- Turns Ratio Test (TTR)
- Voltage Ratio Test
- Magnetic Balance Test
- Vector Group Verification Test
- Short Circuit Test
- Open Circuit Test
- DVDF (Double Voltage Double Frequency) Test
- High Voltage (HV) Withstand Test for HV/LV Windings
- Transformer Oil BDV (Breakdown Voltage) Test✅ Required Skills:
- Knowledge of transformer testing procedures and instruments
- Experience in industrial electrical projects preferred
- Ability to read electrical drawings and test reports
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Team handling and site coordination experience
Mandatory Requirement:
Candidate must bring along a team of at least 20 to 25 Electrical Workers/Labours for project execution work.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering
- Relevant transformer industry experience mandatory
