As part of the Customer Satisfaction and Quality function, this role contributes directly to enhancing customer trust, operational excellence, and product quality across Schneider Electric's digital offerings.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer, Software and Systems Quality who combines deep technical expertise in software quality engineering with a strong customer-centric mindset. The successful candidate will drive proactive quality practices throughout the design and development lifecycle, ensure post-release product performance, and support critical customer escalations. This role requires the ability to collaborate across engineering, product management, and support organizations to continuously improve software and system quality while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the Software Quality Lead:

Ensure software and system offerings are safe, secure, robust, reliable, and compliant with organizational quality standards.

Deploy and advocate proactive quality assurance practices, methodologies, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.

Define, implement, and continuously improve software quality processes, metrics, standards, and governance frameworks.

Conduct quality reviews, risk assessments, and root-cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and prevent recurring issues.

Monitor post-launch software and system performance, analyzing field data and customer feedback to drive continuous quality improvements.

Collaborate closely with product, engineering, cybersecurity, and service teams to ensure quality requirements are incorporated during design and development phases.

Support validation, verification, testing, and release readiness activities for software and system solutions.

Investigate technical issues, perform research, and develop innovative quality methodologies to address emerging challenges.

Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to other engineers and quality professionals.

Review technical deliverables and ensure adherence to established quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
