Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 11:30 PM (Roster-based shifts as per operational requirements)
About the Role
Miratci is looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in leading daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate should possess excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising all kitchen operations.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes across all menu items.
- Prepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and quality specifications.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and storage practices.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure compliance with FSSAI food safety standards.
- Oversee mise en place and ensure smooth kitchen workflow.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management and ordering.
- Minimize food wastage through effective planning and portion control.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate junior chefs and kitchen assistants.
- Ensure equipment is used safely and report maintenance requirements promptly.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely order execution and guest satisfaction.
- Support menu development, seasonal specials, and recipe standardization.
- Handle guest feedback related to food quality and implement corrective actions.
- Take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of culinary experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in Pan-Asian cuisine is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹30,000.71 - ₹35,000.15 per month
