We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Incharge for our PET manufacturing facility in Bhopal. The Shift Incharge will be responsible for overseeing all production activities during their assigned shift, ensuring efficient operation, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe working environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in PET production processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the assigned shift to meet production targets and schedules for PET preforms/bottles.
- Ensure strict adherence to product quality specifications and implement corrective actions for any deviations.
- Manage, train, and motivate a team of production operators and technicians, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor and optimize machine performance, including injection molding or blow molding machines, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety checks and promoting a culture of safety.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for timely resolution of equipment breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities.
- Prepare and submit daily production reports, including output, downtime, quality issues, and personnel attendance.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to maintain continuous production flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and consumables required for production during the shift.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the production floor.
