We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Hotel Engineering and Maintenance Manager to oversee the physical structure, mechanical systems, and utility operations of our premier property. You will lead our technical team to ensure guest safety, maximize asset longevity, and maintain seamless daily operations. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in hospitality facilities, sharp leadership skills, and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule shift engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
- System Oversight: Maintain optimal performance of all HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement, track, and enforce daily, weekly, and monthly facility checklists.
- Budget Management: Plan annual operational expenses, monitor utility costs, and manage capital improvement budgets.
- Guest Satisfaction: Resolve guestroom technical issues rapidly to minimize downtime and maintain premium service standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local building codes, fire regulations, and safety policies.
- Vendor Operations: Review contractor quotations, negotiate service agreements, and oversee major property renovations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive engineering experience within hotels or luxury resorts.
- Leadership: Proven track record of managing a technical department or team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep diagnostic knowledge of central chillers, boilers, BMS, and property emergency systems.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and handle emergency call-outs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
