Job Summary:
We are looking for a Tender Executive with working knowledge of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and other tender portals. The role involves identifying relevant tenders, preparing and submitting bids, coordinating documentation, and supporting order conversion through bidding and direct purchase processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search and identify relevant tenders on GeM and other portals
- Prepare and submit tenders with complete documentation within deadlines
- Upload and manage product catalogues with correct specifications
- Prepare L1 comparison sheets for direct orders
- Assist customers in selecting catalogues and generating direct orders
- Respond to buyer queries and clarifications in coordination with management
- Maintain records of orders won/lost with analysis
- Prepare and submit technical, commercial, and general documents online
- Prepare quotations/offers for private clients and institutions
- Support vendor registration, approvals, and renewals with departments
- Assist in pre-bid meetings and tender openings when required
- Handle EMD, Bank Guarantees (BG), and related documentation
- Track and follow up for return of BG/EMD after completion
Requirements:
- Graduate in any discipline
- 2+ years of experience in tendering / GeM / procurement role
- Working knowledge of GeM portal and tender processes
- Good understanding of technical specifications (industrial products preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Good communication and coordination skills
