Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Solar Welder to support solar structure fabrication and installation works. The candidate should have good welding skills, knowledge of metal fabrication, and the ability to work at project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of solar mounting structures.
- Fabricate and assemble MS/GI/metal structures as per project requirements.
- Carry out welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and related fabrication work.
- Install and align solar panel mounting structures at project sites.
- Ensure proper measurements, alignment, and finishing of structures.
- Inspect welded joints and ensure good welding quality.
- Follow safety procedures while handling welding equipment and tools.
- Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment properly.
- Coordinate with the Solar Installation Team and Site Supervisor.
- Complete assigned fabrication and installation work within the project timeline.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area at the site.
Requirements
- Education: ITI / Plus Two / Diploma.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in welding or fabrication work.
- Experience in solar structure fabrication or installation will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication tools.
- Ability to read basic measurements and drawings.
- Willingness to work at different project sites.
- Good teamwork and discipline.
- Strong focus on safety and work quality.
Preferred Skills
- Arc / MIG welding knowledge.
- Solar mounting structure fabrication.
- Metal cutting, drilling, and grinding.
- Basic understanding of structural measurements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
