Viceroy Luxury Mountain Resort & Spa is looking for a motivated and hardworking Maintenance Apprentice / Maintenance Helper to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are eager to learn and build a career in hotel maintenance. The selected candidate will work closely with experienced maintenance technicians and assist in the upkeep of the resort's facilities and equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist maintenance technicians with daily repair and maintenance work.
- Help with basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance jobs.
- Support preventive maintenance activities across the resort.
- Respond to guest room and departmental maintenance requests under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance workshop and storage areas.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of equipment and fixtures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and maintenance materials.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Maintenance Technician
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- ITI, Diploma, or vocational training in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related trade is preferred but not mandatory.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in maintenance or construction work will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment is preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to perform manual work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
