About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Travel Consultant to manage travel sales, client handling, itinerary planning, and team coordination. The candidate should have strong destination knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convert leads into successful bookings.
The role involves handling domestic and international travel packages while ensuring excellent customer experience and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle travel inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and social media
- Convert leads into confirmed bookings
- Create customized domestic and international tour packages
- Prepare quotations, itineraries, and travel plans
- Coordinate with hotels, transport vendors, and local suppliers
- Guide junior sales consultants and support team management
- Maintain proper client records and follow-up systems
- Achieve monthly sales targets and business goals
- Resolve customer issues professionally
- Build long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Stay updated with travel trends, destinations, and market pricing
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international destinations
- Good negotiation and customer handling abilities
- Experience in travel CRM, quotations, and itinerary planning
- Leadership and team coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Google Sheets, Email, CRM)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in travel company / tourism industry
- Knowledge of hotel contracting and operations is a plus
- Experience handling foreign and premium clients preferred
