Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced NOC Engineer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in monitoring and supporting VoIP and SMS networks. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to incident management, and the ability to ensure maximum network uptime while coordinating with internal teams and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain VoIP and SMS network infrastructure 24/7.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network, routing, and service-related issues.
- Monitor traffic, quality, alarms, and system performance to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and timely issue resolution.
- Coordinate with international carriers, vendors, and technical teams for fault resolution.
- Perform routing analysis and optimize network performance.
- Escalate critical issues as per defined procedures and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Maintain daily operational reports, incident logs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and proactively identify potential network issues.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Support teams to improve service availability.
- Participate in shift-based operations, including weekends and holidays, if required.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
- Strong knowledge of VoIP technologies, SIP, RTP, and IP networking.
- Experience in monitoring and supporting SMS infrastructure.
- Good understanding of routing, signaling, and traffic management.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic command-line troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with global teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.
- Relevant networking or telecom certifications will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
