The Fellowship aims to build and nurture a thriving community of Bhumi alumni by strengthening connections, enabling career growth, and creating structured opportunities for alumni to continue contributing to educational equity. The team ensures alumni feel valued, supported, and empowered long after their fellowship journey. As an Associate, Alumni Engagement, you will Support the planning and execution of alumni engagement initiatives — including events, career support, and communications — that keep alumni deeply connected to the Bhumi ecosystem and to each other. This role is critical because Alumni are Bhumi's most powerful long-term ambassadors, and meaningful engagement turns their experience into sustained impact for education communities across India.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ASSOCIATE, ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT
Strengthen alumni belonging and participation by organizing high-quality reunions, regional meetups, and virtual gatherings that deepen relationships across cohorts by executing the strategy
Support alumni career growth by connecting them with relevant job opportunities, placement assistance, and professional development resources such as workshops and webinars
Increase alumni contribution to Bhumi by creating structured pathways for mentorship, program support, and community projects
Track, analyze, and report alumni engagement metrics and impact stories to demonstrate how Bhumi Fellowship contributes to alumni success in their fields and communities
PREFERRED EDUCATION QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
Any Graduate, Post-Graduate, or Fellowship credential
1–2 years of experience in alumni engagement, community relations, or a similar stakeholder-facing role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITI ES
Strong relationship-building skills to engage diverse alumni and other partners and stakeholders effectively
Empathy and active listening to understand and address alumni needs
Exceptional verbal and written communication, including crafting newsletters and social media content
Ability to plan, organize, and execute events including budget management and logistics coordination
Data analysis skills to track engagement metrics and derive actionable insights
Willingness to learn and act on feedback consistently Ability to followthrough on tasks with attention to detail
