KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, research, and build a database of EPC contractors, vendors, and B2B prospects in the solar/electrical/renewable sector.
Conduct outbound calls to EPC vendors and procurement teams to introduce Sunrad's products/solutions and generate qualified business leads.
Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with EPC vendors, contractors, and decision-makers to present proposals and negotiate terms.
Travel to vendor offices and project sites across Chennai/Tamil Nadu as required to build and close B2B deals.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with EPC vendors and channel partners to generate repeat/institutional business.
Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors within company-approved guidelines.
Coordinate with technical/project teams to prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and vendor documentation.
Own and track the full B2B sales pipeline – from first call to vendor onboarding and deal closure – in the CRM.
Represent Sunrad at vendor meets, industry events, and trade exhibitions as required. Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, vendor pricing trends, and EPC market requirements to the Sales Manager.
Achieve monthly/quarterly B2B sales and vendor-onboarding targets.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate in any discipline; MBA/degree in Marketing or Business preferred but not mandatory.
2–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales and tele calling, ideally within solar, EPC, electrical, or infrastructure/construction industries.
Demonstrated experience managing vendor or channel-partner relationships, including in-person client meetings.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Tamil and English; Hindi is an advantage. Comfortable with a hybrid role combining phone-based prospecting and field visits to vendors/sites.
Own two-wheeler/vehicle preferred for local field travel. Proficient with CRM tools, MS Excel, and preparing basic sales quotations/proposals.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
