Long-Form Video Editor & Motion Designer (Remote)
Luma is looking for an experienced Long-Form Video Editor & Motion Designer to create high-quality documentary-style YouTube content.

We are looking for someone who can produce content at a similar standard, combining editing, storytelling, motion graphics, data visualisation, and engaging visual narratives.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–30+ minutes)
- Create custom motion graphics and animations
- Design and animate charts, statistics, maps, and infographics
- Work with voiceovers, scripts, and research material
- Source and integrate relevant visual assets
- Add sound design and music to improve viewer retention
- Maintain high production quality throughout the project
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience
- Strong portfolio of long-form YouTube content
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Good understanding of Adobe After Effects
- Experience with motion graphics and visual storytelling
- Strong English comprehension
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience with international clients or creators is preferred
- Football (soccer) knowledge is a strong advantage
Important
This is NOT a role for:
- Basic social media editors
- Wedding video editors
- Gaming montage editors
- Editors whose portfolio consists mainly of Instagram reels
We are specifically looking for editors who have already worked on documentary-style YouTube content and can demonstrate motion design capability.
