Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, tandoor items, biryanis, breads, and snacks.
- Assist in developing new Indian menu items and specials.
- Ensure correct portioning and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance.
Kitchen Operations
- Follow standard recipes and SOPs.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is prepared before service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Support Chef de Partie/Sous Chef during busy service periods.
- Assist in developing new Indian menu items and specials.
- Ensure correct portioning and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and appearance.
Coordination & Teamwork
- Work collaboratively with kitchen brigade.
- Train junior staff (Commis II and III) when required.
- Communicate effectively to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow HACCP, hygiene, and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
