Job Description – Field Engineer (Hardware & Networking) Position: Field Engineer (Hardware & Networking) Location: Kolkata Experience: 3 Months+ Salary: ₹16,000 per month Job Summary We are looking for a Field Engineer (Hardware & Networking) to provide onsite technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, networking devices, and IT infrastructure. The candidate should have basic knowledge of desktop support, LAN/WAN networking, and hardware diagnostics. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues at client locations. Configure and support routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and LAN networks. Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades. Handle operating system installation, driver updates, and software configuration. Monitor network connectivity and resolve connectivity issues. Coordinate with senior engineers for complex technical problems. Maintain service reports and update job completion records. Provide technical support and guidance to end users Required Skills Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking. Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi networking. Familiarity with Windows operating systems and desktop troubleshooting. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Good communication and customer-handling skills. Willingness to travel within Kolkata and nearby locations. Qualification Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field. Hardware & Networking certification (preferred). Freshers with relevant internship experience or candidates with 3+ months of experience may apply. Benefits Fixed Salary: ₹16,000 per month.
