Job Summary
A Welder Helper assists welders in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting fabrication and welding activities. The role involves handling tools, cleaning work areas, moving materials, and ensuring a safe and organized workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist welders in setting up welding equipment and materials.
- Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces before welding.
- Hold and position workpieces during welding operations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and finished products.
- Clean welds using grinders, wire brushes, or other hand tools.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any defects or maintenance needs.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in measuring, marking, and cutting materials as directed.
- Perform other fabrication and shop support duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of welding tools and fabrication processes is an advantage.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
- Willingness to learn welding techniques and safety practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
