Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Chartered Accountant (CA) office. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, bookkeeping, GST compliance, TDS, and day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions.
- Prepare and update vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in GST return preparation, reconciliation, and filing.
- Support TDS calculations, return filing, and compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, MIS reports, and audit schedules.
- Maintain client accounting records and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with clients for accounting documents and statutory information.
- Support internal, statutory, and tax audit assignments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable tax laws.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and MS Office.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Busy or Zoho Books is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- M.Com or CA Inter (appearing/pursuing) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a CA firm or accounting role.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
