Position Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Pet Store Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and deliver an outstanding shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a love for animals, and a keen eye for detail in managing both people and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
· Help store manager with day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth business functioning.
· Supervise, train, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals.
· Provide knowledgeable, friendly service to customers and their pets.
· Handle inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and animal welfare standards.
· Develop in-store promotions and maintain attractive merchandising displays.
· Monitor financial performance and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2–3 years of retail management experience (pet industry preferred).
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Passion for animals and knowledge of pet products.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
· Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
