Position- AVP/VP Content

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy, Planning and Creations:
- Reviewing and analyzing the industry trends in education and presenting insights and recommendations to the management.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for each vertical, aligning with the specific goals and target audience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in each vertical to understand their content needs and objectives.
- Publishing a forecasting of content requirements and strategizing to deliver the same to program teams with a clearly defined delivery blueprint.
- Representing the content team and presenting the content budget, ideas, requirements, and roadmap to the management.
- Craft content that effectively communicates the educational impact of initiatives within the Education Solutions domain.
- Lead the creation of high-quality content across diverse formats, such as articles, blog posts, and educational resources, tailored to the unique requirements of all domains -
- Technology & Innovation, Education Solutions, Skill Building and Entrepreneurship, and Research and Development.
- Develop resources that showcase skill development programs and success stories, ensuring alignment with each vertical's goals.
- Translate complex technological concepts into accessible and engaging content for various audiences.
- Maintain a standardized level of quality, style, and tone across all published content.
- Implement and enforce content guidelines to achieve consistency.
- Create content that advocates for entrepreneurship and effectively communicates the impact of initiatives within the Entrepreneurship vertical.
- Transform complex research findings into engaging narratives for diverse audiences.
2. Quality Assurance and Impact Measurement:
- Ensure that all content aligns with the organization's values and goals.
- Oversee the editing and proofreading process to maintain high-quality and accuracy in all content created.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for content in each vertical and regularly assess the impact of content initiatives.
- Provide reports and analysis on content performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Connect with Donors to present frameworks, blue prints and outcomes.
3. Budget Management:
Manage the budget allocated for content creation across all verticals.- Ensure cost-effective strategies while maintaining the quality and impact of content initiatives.
4. Analyzing and Recommending New Platforms:
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms for content distribution.
- Evaluate the suitability of new platforms for publishing relevant content.
5. Collaborating with Stakeholders:
- Establish effective communication channels with internal teams and external vendors.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather input and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
6. Maintaining a Database on Salesforce:
- Keep a comprehensive and up-to-date database of all content-related details on Salesforce.
- Generate reports on the performance of the content domain and present them to management at predetermined intervals.
7. Ensuring Compliance with Publishing Rules:
- Monitor content for compliance with copyright laws, plagiarism rules, and other relevant regulations.
- Implement processes to prevent and address potential issues related to publishing rules.
- Ensuring that correct processes for are followed for all tasks being done by the content team.
- Ensuring that all learning material being published is in accordance with the highest standards, and that all necessary review, evaluation and monitoring procedures are followed.
8. Team Management
- Leading and managing the members of the content team on domain-associated functions such as instructional design, content writing, editing, proofreading, formatting and design of content across various platforms.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts within each vertical to produce insightful and impactful content.
- Facilitate collaboration among content teams working on different verticals, fostering knowledge exchange and cross-pollination of ideas.
- Ensuring that team performance is managed appropriately, workload allocation is done in a timely manner.
- Nurturing a value-based culture in accordance with organizational values.
- Induction of new members joining the team; creating opportunities to upskill the current team.
- Consistently achieving results under stringent deadlines.
Job Skills Required
- Around 15 years of experience with at least 5 yrs. of senior level positions.
- Post-graduate, preferably with Masters in Education.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Content Development, or related field.
- Proven experience in content development, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the technology, education, skill-building, and entrepreneurship sectors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for driving positive social impact through content.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
