Job Title :-Design Engineer
A mechanical engineer designs, develops, tests, and manufactures mechanical devices, systems, and equipment, ranging from small components to large machinery. They utilize CAD software to create blueprints, perform simulation analyses (stress, thermal, fluid), and manage the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, safety, and functionality.
Core Responsibilities: -
- Design & Modelling: Create detailed 2D/3D blueprints, prototypes, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks/ Fusion 360/ Ansys Icepak/ Inventor).Strong knowledge of DFM,DFA & DFX.
- Analysis & Simulation: Perform FEA/CFD simulations to evaluate thermal, structural, and fluid behavior.
- Testing & Validation: Conduct, analyze, and troubleshoot tests on prototypes and final products.
- Manufacturing Support: Develop specifications, and provide technical guidance to factories.
- Project Management: Oversee budgets, timelines, and technical documentation.
- Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams or departments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 Years
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD, CAM, LabVIEW, and Microsoft Office.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with materials science, thermodynamics, Thermal, manufacturing processes, and GD&T.
- Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication.
