The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the dealership's service department. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing repair orders, coordinating with technicians, providing accurate estimates, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and understand their vehicle service or repair requirements.
- Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle along with the customer.
- Prepare accurate Job Cards/Repair Orders with complete customer complaints.
- Explain recommended repairs, maintenance requirements, and associated costs.
- Obtain customer approval before commencing repairs.
- Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
- Keep customers updated on repair progress and any additional work required.
- Ensure availability of spare parts by coordinating with the Parts Department.
- Verify completed repairs before vehicle delivery.
- Explain work carried out, invoice details, and future maintenance recommendations.
- Deliver the vehicle to the customer and ensure complete satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Follow dealership SOPs, warranty guidelines, and manufacturer policies.
- Maintain service records and documentation accurately.
- Achieve targets related to labor sales, service packages, accessories, customer retention, and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index).
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in an automobile dealership service department (preferred).
- Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) is an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
