Job Description – Steward (F&B Service)
Position: Steward
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Reports To: Captain / Restaurant Manager / F&B Manager
Job Summary
The Steward is responsible for providing courteous and efficient food & beverage service while ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. The role focuses on delivering an excellent guest experience in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Set up tables with cutlery, crockery, glassware, and other required items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately (if assigned).
- Serve food and beverages as per service standards.
- Ensure timely clearing and resetting of tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant, service stations, and dining areas.
- Assist Captains and senior team members during busy service periods.
- Follow proper sequence of service and SOPs.
- Ensure guest requests and complaints are addressed promptly or escalated to the Captain/Manager.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Promote menu items and suggestive selling wherever appropriate.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for smooth order execution.
- Handle crockery, cutlery, and service equipment with care.
- Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Comply with grooming and uniform standards at all times.
- Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
- Support banquet, outdoor catering, and special events whenever required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Qualifications
- Minimum 10+2 or Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).
- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, or hospitality are welcome.
Working Conditions
- Flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Standing for extended periods and carrying service trays when required.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹130,000.00 per month
