The Store Assistant is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining all hotel inventory, including food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, engineering materials, and other operational items. The role ensures proper stock control, accurate documentation, and timely distribution of materials to support the hotel's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive all goods delivered by suppliers and verify them against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Inspect the quality, quantity, and condition of all incoming items.
- Organize and store materials properly according to hotel standards and safety guidelines.
- Issue materials to various departments based on approved requisition forms.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, and balances.
- Update inventory records in the store management system or stock register.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks and assist in physical inventory audits.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the Store Manager about low-stock or slow-moving items.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control for perishable items.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department regarding pending deliveries and stock requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
- Report damaged, expired, or obsolete items to the Store Manager immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Commerce, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in hotel stores, warehouse, or inventory management.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word, and hotsoft software).
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Standing, walking, and lifting materials as required.
- Work in dry stores, cold storage, and receiving areas.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.74 per month
