Job Responsibilities
- Patient Preparation: Preparing patients for procedures, including explaining the process, addressing anxieties, and adhering to strict radiation safety (e.g., shielding).
- Image Acquisition: Properly positioning patients and setting radiographic parameters (intensity, duration) on X-ray, CT, or portable equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operating digital or film imaging equipment and conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of machines.
- Quality Control: Reviewing images to ensure clarity, proper alignment, and sufficient diagnostic detail.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records and inputting diagnostic data into systems (RIS/PACS).
- Safety Compliance: Following safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology.
- Certification/Licensing: State licensure and certification.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to operate advanced digital imaging software and hardware.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills for calming patients and working with radiologists.
- Attention to Detail: High precision to ensure correct anatomical positioning and image quality.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
