Land Title Due Diligence
- Conduct detailed title due diligence for land parcels under consideration for acquisition.
- Review title chains, ownership records, encumbrances, and historical land documentation.
- Identify legal risks or gaps in land titles and present findings to the Head – Legal.
Land Acquisition Support
- Assist in evaluating land parcels from a legal and regulatory perspective prior to acquisition.
- Review documentation relating to development agreements, conveyance deeds, and related property transactions.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors wherever required.
Regulatory & RERA Compliance
- Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and documentation requirements.
- Assist in preparation and review of documentation required for RERA registrations and updates.
Land Laws & Development Regulations
- Work on matters relating to various land tenures, land ownership structures, and development regulations.
- Review documentation related to municipal approvals, development permissions, and apartment ownership frameworks.
Stamp Duty & Registration
- Assist in matters relating to stamp duty calculations, adjudication, and property registration processes.
- Coordinate with relevant government departments and registration authorities where required.
Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Assist in drafting and reviewing agreements, notices, and other legal documentation related to land transactions.
- Maintain organised documentation and records of legal files.
Candidate ProfileQualifications
- LLB / LLM / Degree or Master’s in Law
Experience
- 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in real estate legal matters.
- Candidates from law firms handling real estate due diligence and land transactions will be preferred.
- Exposure to land acquisition due diligence and property documentation is essential.
Key Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of RERA Act and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with land tenure systems and development regulations
- Knowledge of stamp duty, registration, and adjudication processes
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills
- Ability to review land documentation with speed and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with strong command over English
Pay: ₹165,912.36 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
