Plan, organize, and monitor daily API production activities to achieve production targets. Ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR, and regulatory requirements. Manage production scheduling in coordination with Planning, Warehouse, QC, QA, Engineering, and EHS teams. Lead manufacturing operations including reaction, filtration, centrifugation, drying, milling, blending, and packing. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and production resources. Monitor critical process parameters and ensure consistent product quality. Drive yield improvement, cycle time reduction, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization initiatives. Investigate production deviations, incidents, OOS, OOT, CAPA, and change controls with cross-functional teams. Ensure timely completion and review of batch manufacturing records and production documentation. Coordinate equipment qualification, validation, cleaning validation, and process validation activities. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed in coordination with Engineering. Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Monitor inventory of raw materials, intermediates, solvents, and consumables to avoid production interruptions. Ensure compliance with EHS guidelines, permit systems, hazardous chemical handling, and waste management. Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits including responses to observations.
