About the Role
- We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior 3D Artist to create high-quality game-ready assets while helping drive visual excellence across projects.
- The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in modeling, texturing, optimization, and asset creation for real-time game environments.
- This role requires close collaboration with Art Directors, Designers, Technical Artists, and Production teams to ensure assets meet artistic, technical, and performance requirements.
- The Senior 3D Artist will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, mentoring junior artists, and contributing to the continuous improvement of art pipelines and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Creation & Production
- Create high-quality 3D assets including environments, props, architecture, vehicles, and hard-surface models for games.
- Develop game-ready assets from concept art, references, or design specifications.
- Produce optimized models, UVs, textures, materials, and LODs suitable for real-time engines.
- Ensure assets maintain visual consistency with the project's artistic direction.
- Create modular assets and reusable content to support efficient world-building. Quality & Artistic Excellence
- Maintain high visual quality standards across all assigned assets.
- Conduct self-reviews and participate in peer reviews to ensure consistency and polish.
- Collaborate with Art Directors to achieve the desired artistic vision.
- Identify and resolve visual and technical issues during production. Technical Execution
- Optimize assets for memory, performance, and platform-specific requirements.
- Work closely with Technical Artists to ensure proper integration into game engines.
- Follow established pipelines, naming conventions, and asset management standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to geometry, materials, shaders, and engine implementation. Collaboration & Mentorship
- Collaborate with Concept Artists, Animators, VFX Artists, Designers, and Engineers throughout development.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level artists through feedback and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in establishing best practices and improving production workflows.
- Participate in art reviews, sprint planning, and milestone evaluations.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of professional experience in game development, visualization, or interactive media.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality 3D art for games or real-time applications. • Expert knowledge of 3D modeling, texturing, and asset optimization.
- Strong understanding of form, proportion, composition, color, and material definition.
- Experience creating assets for Unity, Unreal Engine, or other real-time engines.
- Proficiency in PBR workflows and modern game art pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on shipped AAA, AA, or successful live-service titles.
- Knowledge of environment art, world-building, and level art workflows.
- Experience with photogrammetry, procedural workflows, or scan-based pipelines.
- Familiarity with technical art concepts, shaders, and optimization techniques.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
- Understanding of art outsourcing and asset review processes.
