1. Researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences based on product requirements
2. Identify user workflows, user and business requirements.
3. Create, improve and use wireframes/prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your ideas using these methods, in consideration of project constraints.
4. Document workflows and expected interactions using in-house product documentation tools and design systems to facilitate a smoother development experience.
5. Plan and incorporate analytics to measure impact of user journeys in the product flow
6. Guide UI designers in implementing the defined visual language, in consideration of usability best practices.
7. Ensure that every page and every step a user will experience in their interaction with the finished product will conform to the overall purpose, vision, and mission for the business.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, Product Marketing, and Senior Management
9. Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UI designers.
10. Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
11. Clearly articulating and documenting user workflows and product requirements as a source of truth for all stakeholders.
