osition: Executive / Shift In-Charge – Production (API Pharmaceuticals)

Job Summary
Responsible for supervising and executing production activities in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety standards, and production schedules. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and resources to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor daily production activities as per the approved production plan.
- Supervise shift operations and ensure adherence to cGMP, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and EHS departments for smooth production operations.
- Ensure proper documentation of BMR, BPR, logbooks, and production records.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Handle manpower allocation and shift planning to achieve production targets.
- Investigate production deviations, incidents, and process abnormalities and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping of production areas.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Train operators and technicians on SOPs, GMP requirements, and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including WHO-GMP, USFDA, EU-GMP, and other applicable standards.
- Support process validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B.Tech Chemical / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- Executive: 3–5 years of experience in API pharmaceutical production.
- Shift In-Charge: 5–8 years of experience in API pharmaceutical manufacturing with team handling experience.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of API manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of cGMP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good documentation and investigation skills.
- Knowledge of batch processing, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and related equipment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in handling API production equipment such as reactors, ANFD, centrifuges, dryers, mills, and filtration systems.
- Exposure to regulatory audits and inspections.
Salary: As per company norms and experience.
Shift: Rotational Shifts.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
