Job Summary
Responsible for complete management of DI Pipe Finishing Operations including production planning, manpower management, quality assurance, process improvement, and coordination with upstream and downstream departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall finishing operations of DI pipes.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor grinding, socket finishing, spigot finishing, visual inspection, hydro testing, zinc coating, marking, and dispatch readiness.
- Ensure compliance with BIS 8329, ISO 2531, EN 545, and customer specifications.
- Analyze production losses, rejection trends, and downtime.
- Coordinate with Annealing, Quality, Maintenance, Zinc, CML, and Dispatch departments.
- Optimize manpower utilization and machine productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare daily production reports, MIS reports, and KPI dashboards.
- Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with plant standards.
- Train operators, technicians, and junior engineers.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 5–10 Years in Ductile Iron Pipe Manufacturing Industry.

- Production Manager / Head – Finishing
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
