JOB DESCRIPTION
URGENT REQUIRMENT
A Production Engineer in the electroplating or metal plating industry oversees daily shop-floor operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety, and delivery schedules are met.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervising plating line operators and helpers
- Monitoring electroplating processes such as:
- Zinc plating
- Nickel plating
- Chrome plating
- Copper plating
- Anodizing
- Ensuring chemical bath parameters are maintained:
- pH
- Temperature
- Chemical concentration
- Current density
- Checking production schedules and dispatch timelines
- Maintaining quality standards and reducing rejection rates
- Coordinating with:
- Quality department
- Maintenance team
- Stores/purchase
- Production planning
- Handling safety procedures and pollution-control compliance
- Training workers on SOPs and safety
- Preparing production reports and shift records
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electroplating chemicals and processes
- Understanding of surface finishing defects and troubleshooting
- Leadership and manpower handling
- Basic production planning
- Safety and environmental awareness
- Familiarity with ISO/IATF systems is often preferred
Required language:

Common Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Metallurgy
- OR ITI with strong plating industry experience
