Position Summary
The Bakery Commis is responsible for assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of bakery products while maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards. The candidate should have basic knowledge of bakery operations, ingredients, baking techniques, and kitchen discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of bakery items such as breads, cookies, pastries, cakes, muffins, and desserts.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and production schedules as instructed by senior chefs.
- Ensure freshness and quality of bakery products at all times.
- Prepare ingredients and baking materials before production.
- Operate bakery equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages or wastage.
- Support the team during bulk orders, festive production, and special menu preparations.
- Assist in receiving and storing bakery raw materials properly.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of prepared items.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams.
- Follow company SOPs and kitchen operational guidelines.
Educational Qualification:
- Hotel Management / Bakery & Confectionery certification preferred.
- Relevant bakery training or kitchen experience will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
