As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Experience: Senior resource who can perform tasks independently and guide the team.
System Administration: Perform daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of HPE NonStop (Tandem) servers (NS-Series, NSX).
Base24 Management: Install, configure, and support ACI Base24 classic environments, including TACL, Pathway, and FUP management.
Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance and capacity perform load balancing and troubleshoot bottlenecks in a high-availability environment.
Security & Compliance: Manage Safeguard security, SSL/TLS configurations, and ensure PCI-DSS compliance across the infrastructure.
Disaster Recovery: Maintain and test Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) using data replication tools like DRNet.
Patch Management: Execute OS (H06/J06/L-series) updates, SPRs, and application-level patches with minimal downtime.
On-Call Support: Provide 24/7 high-level technical support for production incidents, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for complex system failures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in HPE NonStop.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud computing platforms.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Familiarity with database management systems and data integration techniques.
- Experience in developing and deploying applications in a distributed environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in HPE NonStop.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
