Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Identity & Access Management (IAM) Specialist to join our IAM Modernisation Lab and play a key role in advancing our strategic identity governance capabilities through SailPoint. This position will support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise IAM services, ensuring secure and seamless access management across critical business platforms. Working closely with business, security, risk, and technology stakeholders, you will act as a trusted technical expert, helping to drive IAM transformation initiatives, strengthen access governance controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in IAM operations within large enterprise environments, with expertise across Unix/Linux, Oracle, Midrange platforms, Active Directory, authentication technologies, and privileged access management. You will contribute to the IAM modernisation roadmap, lead aspects of identity lifecycle management, support audit and compliance activities, and identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation through scripting and modern engineering practices. A solid understanding of SailPoint, RBAC, SoD, Zero Trust principles, and operational resilience is essential, along with the ability to resolve complex access challenges and support business-critical production environments in a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation.

- Contribute to the delivery of the IAM modernisation roadmap, including the integration of SailPoint into IAM processes and wider digital transformation.
- Lead aspects of IAM lifecycle activities to ensure secure authentication, authorisation, and access governance aligned with good practice.
- Act as the point of contact for complex access and identity governance blocking issues.
- Work with technology, risk, and business teams to ensure IAM controls meet regulatory, compliance, and operational needs.
- Stay informed about IAM industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging threats, using this insight to strengthen our security posture.
- Provide support beyond regular hours for critical activities such as standby and operational transitions (If Needed).
What you'll need (Desired Skillsets)
- Overall domain experience 4 - 8 years.
- Proven experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations within large enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience managing IAM operations, working with one or more of the following; Unix, Midrange & Oracle platforms.
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux account management, LDAP, Active Directory integration, and authentication mechanisms.
- Ability to identify and drive automation and process-improvement opportunities using any of the scripting language like Python, PowerShell, Bash, SQL.
- A sound understanding of the identity management lifecycle, access governance and privileged access management. Expertise in Access Governance, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Understanding of Zero Trust and Least Privilege security principles.
- Hands-on Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience using CyberArk or equivalent platforms along with user access recertification and access review processes
- Experience supporting business-critical production environments and major incidents along with exposure in delivering 24x7 operational support and participating in on-call/standby rotations.
- Controls awareness on SOX / ITGC requirements/ ISO 27001/NIST and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
- Conversant with SailPoint Identity Now, Identity IQ or Cloud (SailPoint ISC) capabilities.
- Experience applying security frameworks and standards.
- Experience managing business controls, risk and audit engagements.
Nice to have skills:
- Integration experience with SailPoint or similar.
- Relevant IAM tool certifications preferably CyberArk and/or SailPoint
- Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Agile
- Automation/DevOps/CICD Pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud-native identity and privileged access management. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)/Google Cloud IAM
Qualifications:
- B. Tech or equivalent university Degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Cybersecurity and Identity and Access Management experience.
