Job Description:
Manipal Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Nurse will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the overall functions of the healthcare facility. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, providing wound care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. The Nurse will also educate patients and their families on health management, monitor patients' conditions, and maintain accurate medical records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care and IV therapy.
- Maintain patient documentation and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
- Support patients in daily activities and promote a therapeutic environment.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred, with a valid nursing license.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols.
