What you’ll own
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing Salesforce development team within our Enterprise Operations function. This team is responsible for delivering and optimising Salesforce capabilities across the full enterprise customer lifecycle—from lead generation through to customer retention—supporting multiple Lines of Business (LOB).
As Engineering Manager, you will combine strong technical leadership with people management, ensuring the team delivers scalable, high-quality solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Agentforce, Data Cloud (Data 360), Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, and associated platforms.
You will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction, driving engineering excellence, and enabling your team to effectively partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and architecture teams.
Team Leadership & Delivery

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Salesforce Developers, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement

Own delivery outcomes for Salesforce initiatives, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions are delivered on time and aligned to business priorities

Drive Agile delivery across Scrum or Kanban frameworks, ensuring effective ceremonies and continuous flow of value

Oversee backlog health and refinement in JIRA, ensuring clear requirements, prioritisation, and traceability
Technical Leadership

Provide hands-on technical guidance across Salesforce development, ensuring adherence to best practices, governance, and architectural standards

Support design and delivery of solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and extended capabilities including:

Agentforce

Data Cloud / Data 360

MuleSoft integrations
-
Experience Cloud
-
Tableau (analytics and insights)

Ensure robust CI/CD practices are implemented and followed, enabling reliable and repeatable deployments

Drive adoption of secure, scalable integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs)
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the primary engineering point of contact for business stakeholders, product owners, and enterprise architecture

Partner closely with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into technical solutions

Facilitate effective collaboration across engineering, platform, and operations teams

Champion end-user experience and adoption across the Salesforce estate
Operational Excellence

Ensure platform stability, performance, and continuous improvement across Salesforce solutions

Drive engineering standards around security controls (profiles, permissions, field-level security, governance)

Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis where required

Encourage innovation and adoption of new Salesforce capabilities aligned to the product roadmap
What you bring
-
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead within a Salesforce environment

Strong background in Salesforce development (7+ years preferred) across Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
-
Demonstrated experience delivering across the full Salesforce lifecycle (design, build, test, deploy, support)

Hands-on knowledge of:

Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative tools

Integration patterns and APIs (REST/SOAP)

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Experience with, or exposure to:

Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and enterprise governance

Familiarity with SAFe Agile or scaled Agile delivery models

Experience leading teams supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations

Exposure to AI-driven capabilities (e.g., Agentforce, prompt builders)

Strong track record of mentoring and developing engineers
