Job Description
The Dean cum Principal will be responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership to the Arts & Science College, ensuring excellence in teaching, research, student development, and institutional growth. The candidate will play a key role in strategic planning, accreditation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership for the academic and administrative functions of the college.
- Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and academic quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with UGC regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Lead faculty recruitment, development, performance evaluation, and retention.
- Promote research, innovation, and industry-academia collaboration.
- Drive institutional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage student affairs and foster a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve institutional goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Qualification as per UGC Norms.
- Strong academic and administrative credentials.
- Ph.D. and Professor-level experience preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 20 years of experience in higher education.
- Proven experience in academic management, accreditation, and institutional development.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a senior academic or administrative role.
