A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and other public works. They ensure that projects are safe, cost-effective, and completed on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects
- Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
- Conduct site investigations and analyze survey data
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Supervise construction activities and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
- Review and approve project plans and reports
- Identify and solve engineering problems during project execution
- Use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD, Civil 3D) for design and analysis
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods
- Proficiency in design and analysis software
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
Experience Requirements
- Entry-level: 0–2 years (for junior roles)
- Mid-level: 3–7 years (for project handling roles)
- Senior: 8+ years (for leadership positions)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
