The job of our Team leader is to sell Cars with Team, and sales TL provide the motivation, support, training, and incentives to get our sales team to do this job well. Our sales TL have to be motivated and energetic themselves in order to get the same from their team. They must define the team goals and have multiple plans in place for how to achieve them. Sales TL at our dealership must also understand that business success often comes from individual success. If individual success isn’t present, changes will need to be made, which sometimes means uncomfortable conversations with employees.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a sales team
- Tracking sales numbers and overall success
- Initiating training or motivational meetings for the team
- Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Hiring, firing, and managing team responsibilities
- Creating estimated sales forecasts, both short and long-term
- Overseeing sales floor and individual deal closings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Exemplary customer service abilities
- Attention to detail and sales numbers
- Experience managing and motivating people
- Experience and a proven track record of success in sales
- Extensive knowledge of inventory and various automotive specs
- Ability to juggle multiple duties and complete tasks through creative problem solving
- Outgoing personality and at ease communicating with our customers and sales team
