Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Primary English Teacher to develop foundational language skills in young learners. The ideal candidate will create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment to build students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver English lessons for primary classes (Grades 1–5).
- Teach basic grammar, vocabulary, phonics, reading, and writing skills.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and interactive activities.
- Encourage reading habits and spoken English through storytelling and activities.
- Assess student progress through classwork, tests, and observations.
- Provide individual attention to support different learning needs.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English or any discipline
- D.Ed. / B.Ed. (preferred or mandatory as per school norms)
- Strong command of spoken and written English
Experience:
- 0–3 years of teaching experience preferred
- Freshers with good communication skills may apply
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle young children with patience and care
- Creativity in teaching methods (storytelling, phonics, activities)
- Classroom management skills
- Enthusiasm and passion for teaching
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in primary school teaching
- Knowledge of phonics and early childhood education methods
- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum
