About the Role
Cambridge Infotech is looking for a proactive and results-driven Placement Officer to join our EdTech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong industry connections, coordinating placement drives, and ensuring students are well-prepared and successfully placed in relevant job roles after course completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and build relationships with companies/recruiters for student placements.
- Coordinate and organize placement drives, interviews, and campus hiring events.
- Maintain and update a database of hiring partners and job openings.
- Guide and prepare students with resume building, interview skills, and career counseling
- Track student placement records and generate regular placement reports.
- Act as a bridge between students and recruiters to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Follow up with companies for feedback and long-term hiring partnerships.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in placements, HR, recruitment, or business development preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good networking ability and confidence in interacting with corporate clients.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred)
